The Role
The Head of Product is a highly cross-functional role that bridges product, technology, operations, and data to drive business objectives. Currently, the team includes a cross-functional lead and a UX designer, with plans to expand due to the department's critical role in the company’s success. This role involves leading diverse projects, products, and processes to drive change, build capacity, and unlock growth.
Our 2025 roadmap and OKRs are ambitious and focused around tripling our live portfolio, while also diversifying our products in terms of markets, partners, and outcomes. This position requires a highly organized and driven individual that can support the organization in achieving these lofty goals for 2025, while also shaping the future of digital banking in the space at large.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the delivery and growth of the Credable product portfolio across all markets, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on product priorities and features across the portfolio, while fostering collaboration between engineering, design, marketing, and operations.
- Standardize the product development process through clear documentation, including product specifications, memos, and detailed requirements for new product and feature launches.
- Collaborate with the Partner Success team to deliver on P&L responsibilities for each product in all markets, driving initiatives that achieve significant ROI and business impact.
- Conduct ongoing market and competitor research to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to maintain a competitive edge and deliver innovative solutions.
- Gather and analyze customer insights, feedback, and behavioral data to inform the product roadmap and prioritize feature development aligned with customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a subject matter expert on features, deployments, and emerging opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of live products, including deployment details, to ensure transparency and operational clarity across the organization.
- Share regular updates on product progress, key milestones, and roadmap achievements with the broader team, aligning efforts with the company’s strategic objectives.
Person Specification
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, operations, or consulting. Expected understanding of product processes including customer support, product ownership, UX research, business analyst, or related areas
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize customer needs and ensure decisions are aligned with delivering best in class products to end users
- Proven ability to think strategically and translate high-level business goals into actionable product strategies and roadmaps.
Preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record in successful product delivery.
- Experience within the fintech industry is a strong plus.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to listen actively, ask insightful questions, and motivate teams toward shared goals.
- Passion for staying informed about technical and product innovations, trends, and emerging technologies, particularly in fintech and digital banking.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Strong commitment to a "Customer First" approach, ensuring all product initiatives prioritize user needs and deliver exceptional value.
- Solid understanding of the fintech industry, including digital banking, emerging technologies, and key trends shaping the financial services landscape.
- Ability to balance short-term execution with long-term product strategy, ensuring sustainable growth and innovation.
